The remorse time doesn’t always work. I have notice that with our cell, Internet and dish that after the 30 days were over and after we received our first bill is when our trouble started. We have an Internet provider I’m not happy with so I decided to change.
The new provider sent us our package, we installed it and I then called the old provider to cancel. I don’t know what possessed me to asked when our contract expires and what will it cost to cancel now. It was going to cost use about $400 to get out of the contract.
So I had to cancel the new provider and then told the old provider that I had accidentally installed a new provider and found out that the Internet was so much
faster. The old provider somehow was able to speed up our Internet service and it was now as fast as the one I had to cancel. We now can move from screen to screen so much faster. But it is funny that before I made the mistake they couldn’t help me and didn’t know why we were so slow. These companies play games with us all the time. So I understand where you are coming from.
Also if you receive allot of negative advice from any groups, please take it with a grain of solt. I don’t think that some of them understand that we are looking for positive help and advice and their negative inputs are not help at all. Also I was told that each time you have a dropped call or any kind of problem call them and tell them that you want out of the contract and tell them what trouble you are having.
They are suppose to let you out of the contract after so many complaints. Do not give up. My daughters
fiance did that and got out of the contract at a vary small fee.You don’t even have to pay anything if they don’t have good service in your ares. Be persistent.
Good luck
Melissa.

subject: re: budget101.com : How to get our of contractAlways be careful when buying into a cell plan. this is the reason most have a buyers remorse time frame. they can be from 14 days to 30
days depending.I would think you should know by then if you like the service. As far as being in a Department Store and not getting service.. It happens to me all the item but I know I will not get service everywhere I go it is in the contract I signed.
I am not trying to be mean or anything .. I work for a wireless provider and I have heard it all..lol All I know is no wireless provider is going to give you 100 % coverage 100% of the time.. Mother Nature plays her part as well.
I always tell my customers to be CAREFUL read the fine print and also know how long you have before you are stuck in the contract and always always get itin writing. I have never been dissatisfied with my service and if something isn’t working I call right away and find out why ,This way it is documented you called several times for same issue , called for poor service : Several times.. etc.
Hope this helps.Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind !

.From: debeinman@aol. comDoes anyone have ideas on how to get out of a cell phone contract?
We have been with Suncom for five months and we are not happy with the service at all.
Does anyone know what process we need to take in order to get out of the contracts we signed. We are definitely canceling the service, but I don’t want to have to pay the fees if we can get out of it. I don’t feel like we should have to when they cannot fulfill our needs. We are getting texts and voice messages two days after they are sent or left. We can not get service in our own home some of the times. We can be in a department store or grocery store and can’t even use it in there.
We have to either go outside or to the front of the store. We feel it is useless to pay for something that isn’t providing us with what we need.
Any advice would be appreciated. Debbie
