Stop at any pancake house or Denny style restaurant — they will have coupon
books in the lobbies on a magazine stand. There are tons of less expensive
things to do around Orlando.
We love Gatorland, and have gone back every time. It is low-key, fun for
kids, and it is so fun to feed the Lorakeets their fruit juice. There is
an elevated swamp walk that is fun too.
There is a fun train museum in the area, too.
If you drive 1 hour east, you end up on Cape Canaveral. The Kennedy Space
Center is very cool. Even cheaper, is spending the day on Cocoa beach.
Just drive down the main road and look for the public beach signs.
We bought all our emergency rations at the Orlando Wal-Mart near Sea-World.
It was cheaper to buy a stroller ($9) than to rent one.
BTW, we really preferred the Universal Studios theme parks, if you have to
choose one above all.
Good luck!
