    How to create patterns from existing clothes!


    I have a favorite shirt, I’ve worn it nearly to death… so my spouse recreated it using inexpensive material and the original shirt as a pattern. Here’s the tutorial for how to do it yourself:

    To create your pattern you’ll need the following:

    Serrated tracing wheel
    large piece of cardboard
    Pins
    Pattern Paper or parchment paper
    Ruler

    If you don’t have pattern paper you can use tissue paper, it actually works pretty well and it’s really inexpensive. Just be aware that it can tear easily
