Homemade Liquid Hand Soap

Hi,

Last night was the 1st time I made liquid hand soap. I sealed it in a

quart jar to cool overnight before pouring into the dispenser this a.m.

It’s much, much too thick? It won’t even pour out of the jar? This

was my recipe….

1 grated bar soap (I used Dove)

2 pints water

2 T. glycerin

Heat until all soap is melted and pour in jar.

To me the obvious thing is add more water, but how much and do I have

to heat all the soap mixture again? Also, I used filtered water….is

this o.k.? (rather than distilled.)
