If you want a Homemade shampoo that is nourishing and leaves your hair shiny and clean, try this homemade coconut shampoo recipe- it smells lovely and cleans great and isn’t loaded with hormone interrupting chemicals like the store bought junk. Ingredients: 1/2 cup coconut milk 2/3 cup Castile soap (I used Dr. Bronner’s brand) 30 drops essential oil of your choice, I prefer to use Jasmine or Lavender 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
Combine all the ingredients in an empty shampoo bottle or jar and shake to combine, no need to add water. I usually use a small hand soap bottle with a pump. Then you can just squirt one or two squirts into your hand and then wash your hair.
It’s much easier that way!
You can keep it in the shower for one to two months. Shake well before each use.
