The first thing I should know is if this guy was a licensed contractor
(general or sub, doesn’t really matter). Also, did he have you sign
anything before he got started (arbitration agreement?)…Sounds like small
claims may be the way to go, get 3-4 other people up to see the extent of
the damage and get a detailed list of what was (and was supposed to be) done
..I know that laws with a contractor can vary from state to state….Best of
