I came across this Home Remedy for toe nail fungus last summer and had really good success with it.
Here’s what you do, apply vicks vapor rub to the affected nail and then cover it with a bandaid or other bandage. Reapply daily, (I actually did it once in the morning and once at night) and it went away within a couple days and has not returned. The nail was yellowish before and whitened like the rest.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Toenail fungus is a notoriously persistent condition, typically caused by a fungal infection that can be difficult to get rid of. Fortunately, there are several natural remedies that can be used to help combat toenail fungus, such as using apple cider vinegar to soothe irritated skin and kill the bacteria that lead to toenail fungus.
You can also apply diluted apple cider vinegar directly to the infected areas using a cotton ball or cotton pad to help speed up the healing process. Additionally, you may want to try other natural remedies for toenail fungus like tea tree oil or baking soda, which have powerful antibacterial properties that can help eliminate any lingering infection.
With regular use of apple cider vinegar and these other natural treatments, you should start to see results in just a few weeks.
Baking soda
- To use baking soda, mix one teaspoon of baking soda with two cups of warm water.
- Soak your feet in the mixture for 30 minutes.
- Rinse your feet and dry them thoroughly.
- Repeat this process daily until the fungus is gone.
You can also make a paste by mixing baking soda and water and applying it to the affected area. Leave the paste on for 30 minutes and then rinse it off. Baking soda is a safe and effective way to get rid of toenail fungus.
Garlic
Toenail fungus is a common problem that can be difficult to get rid of. While there are a number of treatments available, some people prefer to use natural remedies. One such remedy is garlic.
Alternatively, you can mix garlic with olive oil and apply it to the nails. This treatment can be done once daily until the fungus clears up.
Listerine mouthwash
Toenail fungus can be a painful and embarrassing condition to deal with, especially if it becomes recurrent or difficult to treat. However, there is one simple solution that may help to get rid of toenail fungus once and for all: Listerine mouthwash. This powerful antiseptic has long been used to kill bacteria in the mouth. Still, research shows that it can also be effective at killing toenail fungus due to its high alcohol content and acidic nature.
Over time, your toes should begin to look and feel healthier, without the appearance of symptoms of toenail fungus. So if you’re struggling with this frustrating condition, try using Listerine mouthwash as a natural way to reclaim beautiful feet!
Olive leaf extract
To use olive leaf extract to treat toenail fungus, the first step is to make sure you are applying it properly. This means making sure the olive leaf extract comes into contact with the entire nail and nail bed for maximum effectiveness. You should also be aware that this treatment will take some time to work – it may take several weeks before you notice a significant improvement in your nails.
Oregano oil
Toenail fungus is a frustrating and stubborn condition to treat. It can be difficult to get rid of using conventional medications, which often have side effects or are ineffective. However, there is an alternative treatment that has been shown to be very effective: oregano oil.
Oregano oil has many beneficial properties that make it well-suited to fighting toenail fungus. It contains powerful antifungal compounds that target the underlying cause of the condition, as well as powerful antioxidants and pain relievers to help soothe the discomfort and irritation associated with toenail fungus.
To use oregano oil for toenail fungus, simply apply a small amount directly onto the affected area up to three times per day. Follow this regimen consistently for at least a few months to see optimal results, and be sure to consult with your doctor if any negative side effects occur after using this treatment. With time and patience, you will be able to say goodbye to your toenail fungus once and for all!
Ozonized sunflower oil
Snake root extract
This extract comes from the roots of the South American plant, Drimys winteri. In traditional medicine, it was used to treat a variety of conditions, including toenail fungus. Snake root extract contains compounds that may have antifungal effects. One study found that applying a cream containing 0.5% snake root extract to the affected nails daily for 16 weeks significantly reduced toenail fungus in people with athlete’s foot.
Tea Tree Oil
The fungus thrives in dark, moist environments, making it difficult to reach with traditional medications. Tea tree oil is an essential oil that has potent antifungal properties. When applied to the affected area, it can help to kill the fungus and promote healing.
To use tea tree oil for toenail fungus, mix a few drops of the oil with a carrier agent such as olive oil or coconut oil. Apply the mixture to the affected area and cover with a bandage. Leave the bandage in place for several hours or overnight. Repeat this process until the fungus clears up.
Essential Oils to Get Rid of Toe Fungus
Essential oils have long been recognized for their powerful therapeutic benefits, and toenail fungus is no exception. In fact, many experts believe that essential oils offer a safer and more effective option to prescription medication for treating toenail fungus.
One of the main advantages of using essential oils to treat toenail fungus is that they can be applied directly to the affected area to help address the underlying cause of the condition. Unlike prescription medications, which typically only provide temporary relief, essential oils are able to reach deep into the nail bed to kill the underlying fungal infection at its root. Furthermore, because they are natural compounds made from plants and other botanical sources, essential oils also carry very little risk of side effects or other unwanted consequences.
There are many different essential oils that are known to be effective in treating toenail fungus. Some of the most popular and well-researched essential oils to use for toenail fungus include tea tree oil, clove oil, cinnamon oil, and lemon oil. These essential oils have potent anti-fungal properties that can kill the fungus responsible for toenail infections.
In addition, they have other beneficial properties, such as antibacterial and antimicrobial activity to fight off secondary bacterial or yeast infections that may develop alongside toenail fungus. So if you are looking to get rid of toenail fungus quickly and effectively, these essential oils can help you achieve your goals by targeting the root of the issue.

If you have diabetes and must keep your feet dry try Japanese mint oil or tea tree oil on the toe nails and let the toes dry before socks and shoes.
Jap oil can burn the eyes even worse then Vicks so make sure to wash your hands before touching face if you get any on them. -
