home remedies
This is not an original home remedy from me. I got it off one of the many lists
to which I belong. I wish I could remember where I got it so that I could thank
the original poster.My great nephew has suffered from many respitory illnesses. He has a problem
with reflux so severe coughing would usually cause him to throw up. Not a good
thing to deal with in the middle of the night. I read on one of the lists that
a remedy for coughing was to rub the child’s feet with Vick’s Vapor Rub and then
put cotton socks on him. We weren’t sure it would work but thought it certainly
couldn’t hurt him. It works like a charm. I don’t know how but it does.
