Your right most are very smart, but the more I read now I think that
neither one of mine may be ADHD. There’s so much in common with ADHD and
both Bi-polar which one son has and Asperger’s which the other one has. My
Aspie son is never mean where as my bi-polar son is very mean. He also
has a IQ of 140 even tho he won’t apply his self andwon’t take meds now
that he’s not a minor. He has a GED since he refused to go to school. He
started college and fluked out because he wouldn’t do the work. I did all
that I knew to do for him but right now he’s a lost child to me because he
thinks he knows it all, is mean as mean as you can imagine, and is very
verbal abusive with me. I pray that one day he will see things differently
and understand that I did my best and tried to be a good mom to him.
I hope you find out for sure which one is the correct DX for him and get
him the help he needs before he gets much older. When mine hit 13 or so he
really got worse I pray that yours doesn’t.
