I would have to say ADHD definitely. My 10yr old has it and he has almost all
of the symptoms you noted. He also trys to sleep on his own.. but ends up on my
bedroom floor every night. He needs constant reassuring from me. He is happy
one minute and extremely irate the next (possible bi-polar).. my son is on ADHD
meds and Prozac.. he does excellent when he is on his meds. Oh’ my son reads
three grade levels above his own.. he is very intelligent. My pediatrician said
that most kids with ADHD are extremely intelligent.. they just don’t know how to
utilize their strengths.
