Rubbing alcohol may work. Acetone based fingernail polish remover will

definitely remove the ink, but I don’t know what it would do to the

floors. I’m a chemist and we use super permanent Sharpie to label our

glassware and equipment in the lab. Acetone takes this right off when

we need it removed.

Regarding Ink stains: My son got a black and red Sharpie and wrote on

hard wood floors! I thought that the hair spray would work on this

ink, as well, but it does not.Anyone have any idea what I can use to

get this out??Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!Thank you!
