Hi Everyone,
I am Mary from RI, USA where we are expecting our first snow of the season!
My DH and I have 3 adult children DD, 32 DD 27 and DS almost 25, as well as 2 adorable granddaughters from our DD age 32, Abbery age 5 and Hayley age 2. Money is very tight, both from helping out the children who all work and live on their own but have hit hard times due to economy and divorce.
( DD #1, although we feel the divorce is a blessing in disguise) My mom is eldery and on a fixed income too. This site is a great blessing.
I have passed on tips, recipes to DD #1 who does not have internet. She loves the thrifty stuff and is great bargain shopper. Her kids look beautiful and she never buys “new”.Thanks for being there.Keep up the great work and ideas flowing. I love to knit, crochet, spin, quilt anything along those lines. I have made quite a few gifts this year.
