      I am not sure what ‘horse chestnuts’ are. Around here (Northeastern
      Okla) we use Osage Oranges (also called horse apples). They are a
      big green fruit (about the size of a large orange) off of an Osage
      Orange tree.

      They are good for getting rid of most household
      insects. You just put them where you have a problem. They don’t
      stink, and as they ripen they just dry up and get hard.
