Hi,
We have a Hoover
“FloorMate”,, which my DH purchased for me about 8 years ago. We
have a lot of ceramic tile, and, not long after we installed it, he saw this on
sale for about $80 and got it for me, bless his soul! (I think that they
are normally about $120 – $140)
like it, would be ok for you. In the manual it says “10.0pt;font-family:Helvetica-Light;”>Your
HOOVER FloorMate™ Cleaner can be used to both vacuum dry debris and wet
clean non-carpeted floor surfaces such as vinyl, tile and sealed wood.”
I think that laminate, like Pergo, for instance would fall into the “sealed
wood” category. You could see the .pdf of the manual here: https://www.hoover.com/pdfs/manuals/H3000.pdf

10.0pt;font-family:Helvetica-Light;”>It
works by putting warm water plus their cleaner into one container.(BTW,
you have to use their cleaners, which are a bit pricey. I believe that they
have a separate cleaner for wood floors, by “Old English”. But
a little bit goes a long way.Of course you could use just plain water….)
The water is released as you scrub (there are small spinning brushes), then you
flip a switch, the brushes stop, and the water is vacuumed up into a second container,
leaving a nearly dry floor, so the floor is only wet for under a minute. I
have to admit that I was surprised that this machine picked up a lot of dirt on
floors that looked pretty clean, if the dark waste water told me anything. One
can also use it as a dry vacuum on hard surface floors.
every day or 2, then about 1x a week I’ll run the floor machine.

that this helps!
