4 slices of bacon, chopped 3/4 lb hamburger 1 medium onion, sliced 1 can cream of celery soup (or your favorite cream soup) 1 cup sour cream* salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste
Cook bacon, hamburger and onion until onion is tender and meat is no longer pink, drain well. Mix in soup and sour cream and seasonings. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes on low heat. Serve over egg noodles.
*If you don’t have any sour cream use 1 cup evaporated milk and stir in 1 to 2 Tablespoons lemon juice, let sit for 5 minutes. I use this all the time since I don’t usually have sour cream! I like it better for cooking.
