Today I took a trip to Goodwill. I had planned on purchasing some books for my
nieces B-day box that were at her level (she is 5 and just completed
Kindergarten at an advanced level, she can read most 3 letter words and quite a
few 4 letter ones) and made a killing!

12 gold chirstmas bulbs with hangers – .99
ceramic pumpkin for halloween, holds a tea light candle – .99
small ceramic bear with pumpkin holds a small canlde – .69
Black stretch capri pants – $2.49
      purple peasant blouce – $2.49
two pieces of material for SCA garb – .99 each
      14 childrens books – .49 each
      2 adult books – .49 each
      1 adult hardback book – .99
necklace to be used with SCA garb – .29
Statue of a woman holding a bowl (EXCELLENT) – $7.99 (I have seen similar
elsewhere for as much as $50.00)

I stuck 4 of the books back as a Christmas present for niece, the pumpkin and
the little bear are stuck with my Halloween decorations, the bulbs are with my
Christmas deco and the pants and blouse have been washed and put in my drawers.
The material is awaiting my sewing (I already have it washed and cut) and the
statue is currently adorning my in house shrine. I am so excited. And once
again my husband has dubed me “the queen of deals”.

So, what have you all done lately?
