Ginger pears 4 medium pears, peeled, halved, and cored ¼ cup fresh orange juice ½ cup finely crushed gingersnaps 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts 2 tablespoons margarine or butter preheat the oven to 350f. Place the pear halves, cut side up, in a 12 x 7 ½ x2” baking dish. Drizzle the orange juice over the pears.
In a small bowl, combine the gingersnaps, walnuts, and the margarine or butter. Sprinkle over the pears. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the fruit is tender.
