How about a plate of homemade goodies with the gift card? Or a box of
craft materials that she can use in the day care? Does she read? If so,
see if you can find out who she reads and find her a book she might not
have.
Is she a coffee drinker? For my MIL this year, I’m going to get a
basket, get 2 new coffee mugs, 2 containers of flavored powdered
creamer, and some flavored coffee to make. She goes though a LOT of
coffee (it’s all she drinks), so I know she’ll love it, and it’s kind
of a set your own price thing.
