Fuddruckers, Steak & Ale and Johnnie Carinos Country Italian Restaurants are also making similar offers through the holidays this year. Panchos Mexican Buffet did it last year.
My husband and I purchase the gift cards if we are dining out and redeem them on the spot for our meal purchase — thus taking advantage of the “bonus bucks” and reducing the cost of our date. We have done this by going to the bar before our check is presented, purchasing a gift card and then using it to clear our check on the same visit .. . kind of like using a coupon when you can get a discount this way 🙂
