check:
tire pressure
air filter
oil

do a weekly check on fluids and hoses. this way you can plan to buy a bottle of whatever vs having to make a special trip.

i know we are all combining trips, but remember to add in some extra minutes so you don't have to rush to your next stop, if there's an accident or detour. I generally give myself an extra 1/2 hour (this also helps when the kids are acting up and you need to pull over and put them on time out)

Driving slower saves gas & brakes .. the new brake pads (non-absetos) don't seem to last as long and its seemlike I am having to turn rotars deeper too

Don't ride the clutch.Get into higher gears without lugging the engine, less stress on engine.
