Here in southern Ohio, it is $3.14 a gallon. I combine trips, plan ahead so that I am not backtracking. Sit down and write it out in a small notebook (go to library – return books; go to drugstore – pick up prescriptions – call ahead so they are waiting and I can just go through the drive thru to get them; go to grocery store – pick up groceries – don’t forget coupons & grocery list & small cooler for the freezer/refrigerated items; go to thrift store, back home.) Also, I take the bus to work and I work from home when I can. It saves a bundle on gas since my husband has to fill his truck 2x a week (he drives an hour one way to work each day). Herlean
