Game Hens 4 1-lb Cornish game hens 4 quarts water 3 bay leaves 4 chicken bouillon cubes 2 onions, chopped 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp dried thyme 8 tsp butter Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove giblets. Rinse cavities well. In large pot combine meat, water, bay leaves, chicken bouillon, onions, pepper, thyme and butter. Cover and bring to a slow boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 30 minutes. Remove meat from pot to 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Brush with butter. Bake 30 minutes or until no longer pink in center and juices run clear. 4 servings = about 270 calories.
