      They may not have known until you went through the line that it was

      down (Unless they told you specifically before you tried the card).

      SInce they do know now, I would call and recommend they post a sign

      at the front of the stores.

      You should call your case worker, in the mean time, and find out if

      it’s a problem that will be fixed quickly or not.
