Fried Apple Bread
1 can biscuits
apple pie filling
oil
cinnamon and sugar
Roll out two biscuits. Place apple pie filling in the center of one biscuit and cover with the second. Seal edges with a fork making sure you have a tight seal all the way around, so the filling doesn’t leak.
Heat oil in a pan on camp stove. Over the fire doesn’t give you an even heat. Once this oil is hot slowly add a pie.
Cook one at a time to make things easier and to keep the oil hot. Once pie is brown on first side flip and brown on the other side. Remove to a paper towel and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Be careful, the filling will be hot. Servings: 4
