Freezer Cherry Jam
3 cups pitted and ground cherries
1 box powdered pectin
5 cups Sugar
1 cup Water
Mix cherries and sugar and let stand for 20 minutes. Combine pectin and water and boil for l minute stirring constantly. Add pectin to cherries and sugar and stir for 2 minutes.
Pour into freezer containers or canning jars leaving a half inch head room. Cover and refrigerate until set. Store in refrigeratoor or freezer.
