I missed the original posting about freelance secretarial work and I
am interested in how you would get started doing this. For many,
many years I worked as a private secretary and would love to work
from my home now. Do you put an ad in the paper for freelance work
or make up cards and put them in stores. Also, do you just do typing
or do you do other things like make appointments, airline
reservations, etc. and if so how in the world would you figure the
charges for that. Someone else mentioned a medical transcription
course. That sounds good, but who offers those and how long do they
courses last? I would sure appreciate any information on this
because I don’t have a clue as to how to get started.
