I do not beleive in the “lifestyle” But I do beleive if I have no use for
something and somebody else does…then have at it…..
I recently gave away a vehicle….I couldve sold it…but it sat at my house and
I never had any time to do anything with it. Somebody stopped by wanting to know
if I would sell it to them..I GAVE it to them….it was sitting there
rotting….so if somebody else can use it…go for it…
when I have a yard sale…everything is super cheap or FREEEEE…I dont need
it….somebody else does.
We are to worried about ME and MY STUFF…..it is STUFF…
Its just my opinion….and I appreciate everyones opinion….but this is mine
and I teach this to my daughter also….we live in a small community but
recently went to a larger community and my daughter saw one of the “freegans”
and she had to give this man some food. We got home and after all the fun we had
and shopping etc the most excited and feel good moment she told everyone about
was how it made her feel sooo good to give somebody food. It was her dinner and
she gave it to him.
Again I do not agree with the freegan lifestyle as a whole but these are humans
and there are situations with their lives we may never know….treat people with
compassion.
Sorry for rambling,
Tressa
