Susan,

The great meat bargains I get ARE at our local Fred Meyer’s. It isn’t a meat
madness sale, it’s a clearence bin. When the meat gets to be the day of or the
day before the “sale by” date, they put it in this bin at a reduced price.
Most of the time this reduced price is 50% to 75% off of the original price.
It is still a great deal. 🙂

I wish that they would extend that to the stores that they have merged
with that have kept the names that they had before hand, Fred Meyer’s.
We have FM and they are part of Kroger but don’t do the same specials as
Kroger aparently because they don’t do the meat madness deal.
