Guys, seriously- ignore this entire post, cause you’ll be squicked
out.
I’ve tried several types of pads, but ultimatly, the ones my mom
gave me first are the most comfortable, and the driest (kotex ultra-
thin). I still remember her telling me that someday, I’d thank her
for not giving me something that felt like I was wearing a mattress
between my legs, and she’s right. 😉 I hate, hate, hate the Always
brand, and most store brands.
For tampons, I’ve stuck to ob no-applicator. when i first started
using tampons, i did it on my own, and just grabbed the smallest
box. i’ve tried other brands, but the ob is more tightly woven, i
guess? i can’t stand the others that i’ve tried because they get all
long and misshapen.
price is sometimes a concern, or used to be, and i’d skip the
tampons and go with the cheapest pads. now, i can afford it better,
and i stock up during sales and with coupons. they are not the
cheapest brands, but they’re the most comfortable for me.
and wow, i really feel bad for any guys on the board after this
question. 😉
