Does anyone know how long the old school liquid food coloring is good for? The red, yellow, blue and green kind? Mine doesn’t have an expiration date on it and my son’s birthday is well today already lol.
He picked a blue velvet cake for me to make with a vanilla frosting and I figured I would try and die the frosting also but I don’t want to poison all of us either. Thanks for any info you can help me with!

Food coloring is good indefinitely and does not have an expiration date. Food coloring tends to hold on to its strength in color as well.
