I know this is an older post, but wanted to solve your dilemna in case

      anyone else needs to know.

I worked at Michael’s Arts and Crafts, and the floral ladies there used

fishing sinkers. They said the glass marbles cost a lot more and that

when people dropped the arrangements in the store, the glass marbles

      would break and shatter.

You can find fishing sinkers in all kids of sizes at any department

store that has sporting goods. Bi-Mart or Walmart would be my first try

for a decent price on them.

Be careful that children do not handle or chew on the leaded sinkers.
