I grew tired of trying to use expensive makeup brands so I went in search of help Contouring using cheaper drugstore products and boy did I hit the mother load!

It is incredibly easy to achieve the perfect balance of contour and highlight using two coversticks (one a little lighter than your skin-tone and the other about 2 shades darker than your natural skin tone.) You’ll also need a beauty sponge or beauty blender, they have both on amazon here.

First, highlight the bridge of your nose (going down towards the tip) using the light coverstick and then cross it like a t at the tip of your nose. then, still using the light color, add triangles under each eye to conceal any luggage you might have. this young lady is lucky, she doesn’t have the baggage i have hehehehe.

use the beauty sponge to blend it.

you will need the dark coverstick next and apply it right under the cheekbone at an angle. (follow your cheekbone) and then blend it in with the sponge.

now that it’s blended, see how natural it looks:

okay, i know it sounds simple, but watch how erin does it in her video:

and when you’re done watching her video, you can totally check out her website here too.
