Make your own Fireball Infused Apple Crisp! and no, the alcohol does not “burn off” and you cannot give this to kids. this is an adult dessert.

Here it is…”Fireball Infused Apple Crisp” by Terry Clifford!!

      You Need:

      2 ½ pounds Gala apples
2 ½ pounds Granny Smith apples
1 Large bottle of Fireball brand (or any brand) Cinnamon Whiskey
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Peel, core and slice apples. Place in an airtight container, I used a
huge mason jar and a Rubbermaid lock-n-lid. Allow the apples to sit for
5-6 hours in the containers in the fridge.

      **5 hours later****

drain the fireball from the apples (drink it while you prepare the recipe, haha)

Spray a 9×13 pan with Pam and place the apples in the cake pan.

      Mix together:
      1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
      3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
      1/2 teaspoon salt
      1 tspn cinnamon
      ½ tspn nutmeg
      1 cup oatmeal
      1/2 pound cool butter, diced

Bake at 375 for 40 minutes or until the topping has browned slightly and the apples are bubbling!!

I gather that you spread the ingredients that you mix together over the apples and then bake! lol! i don’t know about you, but i would pour the fireball back into a jar or something, store in the fridge and sip occasionally for inspirationgiggle smiley

i’ve been looking at the fireball brand every time i go in the liquor store trying to come up with an excuse to buy it as it looked good, but i don’t drink much bourbon. now i have an excuse! thanks!

I mix some fireball whiskey in my pumpkin spice cappuccino. Really good

Okay…now I have another reason to buy it! LOL! I like Fire Water — cinnamon vodka, too!

But it’s for sipping or adding to my mocha since it 101 proof! giggle smiley Hmmm…maybe I should try Fire Water in my apple, peach, and/or cobbler;-D
