      We’re starting our own traditions;
      especially since our youngest is 4 and oldest will be 18 in May. We’re
      moving next year to TX from CA and we want to start our own traditions.
      First, we have a cute Advent calendar that we use (and the 4 yr old likes
      taking candy out of the doors). Another is a blueberry baked French toast
      that DH likes for holiday breakfasts. We also make it for Thanksgiving
      morning. I try to make a different Christmas dinner every year, but we
      are SUPER tight money-wise this year we’re having brunch instead.
      It’s cheaper and easier and I can relax more that day.

      Next year, after the move and all (and
      hopefully one more bambino), we’ll be able to kick start more traditional
      aspects.
