JaneIf you receive roses for valentines, submerge the stems under water and cut them at an angle, plunge into water immediately. Roses seal shut in less than 3 seconds, so dont dawdle.
Remove any leaves that would remain submerged as they will rot your roses.
Replace the water daily!
Other Notes: Roses last longer in cool rooms as opposed to hot rooms.
