Kmart has an add in their flyer this week for General Mills Cereal- if you buy 4 boxes, you can get them for $1.49 a box (up to 18 oz).
Walmart price matches all competitor ads.
If you go into the Budget101 Forums Coupons Section you can print $1. off coupons on Honey Nut cheerios. Also, in this past sundays paper there were coupons for $1./2 boxes General Mills Cereal.
Using several of each of those coupons, I was able to purchase the following:
4 Lg Boxes Golden Grahams Cereal
8 Lg Boxes Honey Nut Cheerios
2 Lg boxes of Lucky Charms
1 Lg box Cocoa Puffs (seperate coupon from budget101 coupons)
2 Lg Boxes Kelloggs Rice Krispies with Strawberries (seperate coupon on my site)
2 Lg Boxes Regular Cheerios
a Total of 19 boxes of cereal. Regular price $60.86 after coupons (and the price match) I paid a Grand total of $15.77 (including tax) That’s an average of .83 per box for Name Brand Cereal.
Some notes, you will need to limit your transactions to 4 boxes per person/per transaction. I rang out, then my son rang out, then my other son rang out, then I rang out again.
