You know, our windows are new within the past 10 years, so I don’t do this, BUT,

this year

I put velvet curtains up in my living room (where we spend most of our time) and

my

husband commented the other day how it wasn’t so cold in the room(I keep our

heat at

63deg)! We keep them drawn at night and open in the day. So, maybe making some

heavy

duty curtains would help too, it did here!
