I live in the middle of no where Indiana in the middle of a corn field andin manufactured housing and my answer is YES….I do use the shrink fit window kits in the winter. It makes a world of difference. I also caulk every draft I find and keep a can of the spray in insulation for bigger gaps and other areas that I feel wind coming in.
