I am in the Idaho panhandle and we are experiencing the worst snow
season since 1968-69 season. Looking at your bills, I feel fortunate.
I heat our 2200 sq ft house (plus water heater) by heat pump during theday at 65 degrees and use our wood stove at night to keep the house at
an even temperature. I put a container of water on top as well. I
dress in flannel-lined jeans during the day with a sweatshirt over along-sleeved T-shirt….and I keep moving as much as I can. My last
month’s electric bill from our co-op was $103.
