Hi Deb, I live in Littleton, CO and I heat a 650 sq ft apartment
and my bill last month was $127. I have my thermostat set to
65 degrees and we wear sweat suits a lot. My DH and I are
senior citizens so we feel the cold. We also have a small den
where we can close the door so we heat the room by small
space heater. Our DD lives 1/2 mile from us and lives in a
small 2 BR duplex; her bill was $125 last month. The diff
is that we are home 24/7 and she works 5 days a week.
Email me privately if you want more tips for Denver, but
this list has an abundance of great ideas for which I am
eternally grateful. Thanx to all you members and to a great
List guru, Liss WTG

Subject: Budget101.com : Energy Bills
Hi all.
I’m a new member to this group, so I’m not quite sure of topics and
culture etc.
I live in Denver and we’re in the midst of winter of course. I’m
getting sick of my energy bills. I paid 267 last month. That’s the
highest energy bill I’ve ever paid.
Another month or two and this should calm down.
What are those of you in other states paying?
Thanks,
Deb
