egg shells for plants

I never have washed them first. I put them outside in my flowerbeds, too.
Sometimes when my eggs are outdated, I also crush the shells and the eggs, and
add them to the soil. Works wonders. I also use banana peels for my Roses.
I remember several years ago, my neighbors laughing at me, when I planted glads
along side the dividing fence, in almost sand like soil.

I got the last laugh
when my glads came up.
