Actually if I get heartburn or start to get the acid reflux I eat about 3 TBS of plain yogurt. It helps everytime. I also find that if I limit my carbs at dinner time I do not have this problem and do not heavy in the evening.

Eliminate all cow dairy products–if you must have dairy switch to goat cheeses, yogurts and milk. It is MUCH easier to digest.
