Saving Moola
Easy Peasy Peach Appetizer
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8-ounce) jar peach preserves, divided
1 cup chopped pecans, divided
1 Box of your favorite crackers (Ritz’s Crackers are my favorite)Mix the cream cheese with half of the peach preserves in a small bowl until it is smooth and creamy. Add 1/2 of the chopped pecans and mix well.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Before serving, spoon the remaining preserves over the peach cream cheese mixture, and then top with the remaining chopped pecans.Serve with crackers or toasted roundsYou can use pretty much any flavor of jam or preserves. If you want to kick it up a bit, add 1/4 cup of finely chopped pickled jalapeno peppers to the preserves before adding over the top of a block of cream cheese.
It’s even delicious with cranberry sauce, use the whole berry sauce and add the pecans!!
