This traditional Easter main dish pie combines a three cheese filling with savory salami, ham, and herbs. All you need is a green salad and some crusty Italian bread to made a wonderful meal.
Ingredients
1 (9-inch) deep dish frozen pie shell
1-1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped flat leaf parsley
1/4 pound sliced deli Genoa salami, cut into small squares
1/4 pound sliced boiled deli ham, cut into small squares
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
Salt and pepper to tasteCooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl combine, eggs, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, parsley, nutmeg and salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.Gently stir in the salami and ham.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until top is slight golden and filling is set. Allow pie to cool for 5 minutes. Serve warm.Ready In:
