Easy Chicken Chasseur Recipe
6 boneless chicken breasts
2 cups baby carrots or carrot chunks, scraped.
2 medium red potatoes, cut in small chunks
1 1/2 cup mushrooms, quartered if large
1 cup garden vegetable-style spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup lean Canadian bacon or ham, finely diced
In small skillet sprayed with cooking spray, saute the Canadian bacon or ham until lightly browned. Place it in crockpot along with remaining ingredients, reserving 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce. Brush the remaining sauce over chicken. Cook on low for 4 hours, 5 if chicken is partly frozen.
