Easy Cheesy Sausage Muffins! If we ever get to go tailgating & camping again, these can be made in small balls too. I use a cookie dough scoop to make them meatball size as appetizers for parties.

This is the Easiest recipe ever. You do need to cook, drain and crumble the sausage first. I usually use the recipe for sausage here on the site. I also make my own quickmix (bisquick).

Easy Cheesy Sausage Muffins Recipe
1 cup bisquick mix
4 beaten eggs
1/2 tsp salt, (less if you wish)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 lb ground sausage
Mix altogether, put in sprayed muffin pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350F.
Make Ahead Party Appetizers
The ultimate party food, these are worth planning in advance. Make them in advance, drop the balls onto cookie sheets and freeze them until firm. After that, place them into resealable plastic freezer bags, vacuum seal bags, or airtight containers and store for up to 3 months.
Bake as needed, no defrosting required, at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Seriously though, if you plan on doing this, just vacuum seal them, regular freezer bags suck.
We serve them with different dipping sauces, BBQ, Honey Mustard, Ranch, etc.
I made these a few weeks ago in ball form, then froze them once they were cooked. They reheat really fast in the air-fryer, so they’re great to make ahead for quickie last minute appetizers.
I added a bit of finely diced red & green bell pepper to give them a little festive color.
