Deviled eggs are a fave but here’s a way to make them fit in with Easter! ![](https://www.budget101.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/easter-deviled-eggs-.jpeg)
12 eggs, hard boiled
1/3 cup regular mayonnaise
2 tbs prepared mustard (yellow or brown)
1/4 cup sugar-free sweet pickle relish
A few drops of hot sauce
Salt (about 1/4 teaspoon, or to taste)
Pepper to taste
Paprika, sweet, hot, or smoked, depending on your taste
Carefully cut the hard boiled eggs at the narrowest part of the egg to resemble a cracked eggshell, and scoop the yolks into a bowl.
Mash the yolks with a fork, and mix with the other ingredients.
Fill the cavities in the egg white, smoothing the mixture over the top (or pipe it in, or however you want to do it). Cap the eggs with the small pieces of cooked white that you removed.
Cut a carrot into thin coins and then cut small triangles to make little “beaks”. You can use tiny pieces of black olive or peppercorns for the eyes.
(I use black olives, peppercorns could chip a tooth!)
