3-4 lb pork roast (or less) œ c soy sauce 1/4 c packed brown sugar 1 T fresh ginger, chopped finely (or 1/4 – 1/2 tsp ground ginger powder) 2 garlic cloves, whole, peeled 1-12 oz can apple juice concentrate 1 t ground white pepper
Mix ingredients well. Pour half into crockpot. Put pork roast on top of liquid. Pour rest of liquid over roast. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Strain liquid into saucepan and thicken with 2-1/2 T cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 c water. Serve over rice. Rich and tasty.
