Russian Chicken
2/3 cup Apricot Preserves
16oz Russian Dressing (MYO!, Recipe on Budget101.com )
2 Packages Dry Onion Soup Mix (MYO!, Recipe on Budget101.com )For immediate cooking: Pre-heat oven to 350 F. Place all ingredients into a
large baking dish, turn chicken to coat. Bake until chicken juices run
clear (45-60 minutes for chicken pieces, or 20-30 minutes for chicken
breasts). For freezing: Place all ingredients into a 1 Gallon freezer bag. Lay flat
in freezer. To thaw and cook: Take the bag out of the freezer the night before, make
sure the baggie is completely closed. Place the Bag on a shelf furthest
from the freezer (It works best if the bag is laying flat, although this
may not be the best option with a side-by-side fridge/freezer). Preheat the
oven to 350 F.Empty the contents of the bag into a large baking dish and
bake until the juices run clear (45-60 minutes for chicken pieces, or 20-30
minutes for chicken breasts). - August 8, 2010 at 7:56 pm #428601

No comments since May? I was hoping to hear how it turned out from some of you folks who were going to try it! I think it looks good too…so I am going to try it too..
I wish I could figure out how to get back to this exact thread…this site is seemingly very complicated for me to use. - October 26, 2014 at 9:15 pm #459060

Whatever you want to serve with it. You could serve it with egg noodles if you wanted.

This sounds interesting. I like that I can cut out all the processed junk by making the ingredients from scratch. I’ll add this to the menu two weeks from now.No room in the plan until then. And I’ll be sure to post our review!
