a pampered chef recipe
1 deep dish pie crust
1 med orange
8 oz softned cream cheese
1/2 boiling water
1 3oz pk orange jello
3 c orange sherbert – divided
8 oz whipped cream – divided
preheat oven to 425, prick bottom and sides of pie crust, bake for 10-12 min til golden brown, cool completely.
Zest orange to measure 1 tsp zest, juice orange to measure 1/4 c juice.
Wisk juice and zest into cream cheese until smooth.
Boil water and wisk in Jello about 2 min til dissolved, gradually add 1 c sherbert to the jello mixture until well blended and thickened.
Immediately wisk jello mixture into cream cheese mixture, add 1 1/2 cup whipped cream and blend gently.
Fill pie shell and chill at least 1 hour.
Garnish each slice with the remaining sherbert and whipped cream

This sounds wonderful. I love just about anything orange.

Yeah, this sounds great! Sounds like that icecream that you can buy thats part orange & part vanilla. Soooo yummy!
